If you're into house and pop music, you should get a chance to listen to Justin Timberlake's sexyback pokerface club remix. An eclectic mix of pop, drums and bass (but not drum'n'bass, that's altogether different), after hearing it one wonders why the staccato original version is way more popular. Look for it on the sexyback single, ah hell, you're cool enough, I'll send it to you if you'd ask nicely (sshhh... the RIAA might be listening). oh, and stay away from the Ibiza remix. boo. Oakenfold's mix of Timberlake's "My Love" is pretty hot, too. If you're into that.
Lunar Gala on february 17th 07. keep your calendars open.
I know it's more than 3 months old, but around August 06, AOL progammers thought it would be "really cool" to release the search information that 650,000 or so of their members input recently, in the last year. They thought, "hey, if we only replaced their names with numbers, then no one would mind, mirite? mirite?"
wrong
what was actually included in the released data were names, addresses, dates of birth (if accurate), social securtiy numbers, and the like. Over an outcry of potential identity theft problems, that data was summarily pulled from the site. So were the AOL staff who released it.
Too late. Although no major cases of identity theft have been going on, the interesting search queues found by bloggers such as somethingawful.com actually confirms our suspicions of what AOL users really are...
Tomorrow, the 5th of December, is National Day of the Ninja. Kind of like Talk Like a Pirate day, except with more eyes, legs, and fewer parrots. Also, this day comes with fewer moronic things to say. Fewer things to say at all, for that matter. Day of the Ninja consists of keeping the conversations short, succint, and deadly.
